Fix "iPhone Backup Failed" iCloud Notification Issue on iPhone

Check Network Connection

When we do backup on iCloud, it will need us to connect our iPhone/iPad with Wifi, now open other app to check if your network works well.

Fix iCloud Storage Issue

If your iPhone backup failed because of iCloud storage, there are several solutions for you.

1.Delete some iCloud backup you don’t need any more.

Go to Setting--iCloud, log in it with your Apple ID and password. Then go to iCloud Storage--Manage Storage, now you can see which files are taking more storage space, tap on the one you don’t need any more and delete it.

2.Buy more storage.

Apple support us to buy more iCloud storage when it’s full, so when you see “iPhone Backup Failed”, there will be three options for you, that is Storage, Learn More and Not Now. tap on Storage--Add Storage, then follow its instruction will be ok.

3.Backup iPhone data with other Way.

You can also backup your iPhone/iPad data with iTunes or with some third-party iOS data recovery software if you need to backup them selectively and directly. Disable Auto Backup on iCloud

In order to save our iCloud storage space, we’ll need to disable auto backup on iCloud to avoid we will backup some useless iPhone data.

Now go to Setting--iCloud Backup, then turn it off.

Or you can also sign out your iCloud, then it won’t backup iPhone data automatically.
